The transformation of learning has recently experienced a shift from face-to-face learning to distance learning. This phenomenon raises a new way of thinking about how to make learning take place effectively and efficiently. Therefore, the emergence of various innovations in the learning process is directed to deal with all the needs that arise in the world of education. In the education sector, innovation and learning go hand in hand. One way to keep teachers and educators up to date is to join conferences to get new ideas for teaching and learning from other perspectives. For this reason, the Faculty of Education, State University of Malang held the 2nd Information and Communication Technology in Education for Human Development (ICITE).

The 2nd Information and Communication Technology in Education for Human Development (ICITE) is an annual forum for researchers, engineers and scientists to disseminate their knowledge and research on Education, Computer Science, Computational Intelligence and Information Technology. The conference warmly welcomes prospective authors to submit their research and ideas to ICITE, and share the valuable experiences with the scientists and scholars around the world. The theme for the 2nd ICITE is “Innovation in Education Base on Information Technology”. This main theme will discuss innovations in the field of information and communication technology-based education.

The 2nd ICITE was held via Zoom on November 20, 2021. This conference involved keynote speakers from Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Indonesia. We would like to express our deep appreciation and gratitude to all the members of the 2nd ICITE. We would also appreciate the assistance of Atlantis Press in producing the volume of the collected papers. In the end, we wish to express appreciation to all the authors for their outstanding contributions to this valuable volume. Hopefully, this conference can contribute to improving the quality of innovation in education, in Indonesia in particular and global education in general.
