- Abstract
This study aimed to achieving the implementation pattern of implementation of life skills education through a reorientation of learning and practice reforms implemented in vocational education. Research conducted on vocational school in West Java with a sample of five CMS. The method developed in this study using quantitative research methods descriptive problem-solving approach, associative causal and associative reciprocal. The object of research conducted on vocational leaders, teachers productive subjects, and students in grade 3 (XII) competency skills Power Installation Engineering. The research findings show that learning in vocational education is in conformity with the goal-oriented life skills. This is evidenced by the achievements of the implementation of the reorientation of the productive teacher learning show significant support is quite good, and the reform of educational practices contribute to the achievement of the competence of graduates achieve sufficient significance level. The achievement of the competency of students in grade 3 (XII) before graduating based on information obtained from five vocational samples showed average figures either. Competence in both categories owned vocational school graduates is a start-up capital that can be used as provision of life skills to enter the workforce
