The 2024 3rd International Conference on Information Economy, Data Modeling and Cloud Computing (ICIDC 2024), held in Dalian, China, during June 21 to 23, 2024, via hybrid form, aimed to bring together scholars, researchers, educators, and professionals from around theworld to discuss the innovative trends, regenerative practices, challenges, and opportunities within the dynamic and evolving landscape of information economy in the digital era. Distinguished research scientists, eminent international entrepreneurs, and esteemed experts from the realms of economy, commerce, computer, and big data, along with delegates hailing from countries including India, Malaysia, Iraq, Egypt, New Zealand, etc., graced this event with their invaluable presence. The conference tracks included but were not limited to

• Mode and path of sustainable economic development;
• Innovative database technology and data processing;
• Cloud computing and blockchain;
• Intelligent computing infrastructure and platforms.

The importance of collaboration and innovation has never been more critical during the rapid pace of global connectivity and change. This year’s speakers, such as Jitender Kumar Chhabra, a professor of the National Institute of Technology in India, having published more than 160 papers in reputed journals and conferences and been working in the areas of software engineering, soft computing, and data clustering for 25 years, provided insight into the intelligent modeling of the features followed by computing using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, to predict fault-prone components of software. Besides, Cui Wei, post-doctoral fellow of Business Administration Mobile Station of Wuhan University, associate professor of the School of Shipping Economics and Management of DalianMaritime University, review expert of funded projects of the Ministry of Education, shared with us the governance value of data assets throughout their entire lifecycle. These distinguished individuals inspired us with their insights and experiences, setting the tone for the conference that promises to be both enlightening and transformative.

We are excited to have witnessed the exchange of ideas, the forging of new partnerships, and the breakthroughs that emerged from the discussions and presentations at the ICIDC 2024. Our aim is to provide you with a platform to engage in meaningful con- versations, share your knowledge, and contribute to the advancement of your respective fields.

This conference is the result of the hard work, support, and dedication of a number of parties. We thank all the committee members who have made the conference possible.
