- Abstract
This study proposes a model of the rela-tionship between Human resource man-agement practices and enterprise innova-tion at the organizational level. The mod-el is tested on 196 personnel and manag-ers at 54 small-sized Chinese software development companies. The enterprise innovation is considered to contribute to improving enterprise efficiency and ef-fectiveness. We found that creative cul-ture fully mediates the relationship be-tween HRM practices and enterprise in-novation. The results indicate that (a) HRM practices had no direct effect on enterprise innovation; (b) HRM practices worked through employees’ creative cul-ture. Implications of these findings are discussed.
