Proceedings of the 2023 International Conference on Image, Algorithms and Artificial Intelligence (ICIAAI 2023)
Conference Name: Proceedings of the 2023 International Conference on Image, Algorithms and Artificial Intelligence (ICIAAI 2023)
Date: 11-13 August 2023
Location: Singapore, Singapore (Online)
Website: www.ic-iaai.com The 2023 International Conference on Image, Algorithms and Artificial Intelligence (ICIAAI 2023) was successfully held on August 11th–13th in Singapore (virtual con- ference). ICIAAI 2023 created an ideal platform for experts, scholars and researchers engaged in image, algorithms, and artificial intelligence to share views and experiences, presenting ongoing research activities, strengthening existing partnerships as well as fostering new collaborations. In the ICIAAI 2023, we were greatly honored to have Dr. Pushpendu Kar from the School of Computer Science, The University of Nottingham, China, to serve as our Conference Chair. The conference covered keynote speeches, oral presentations, and online Q&A discussion, attracting around 150 delegates worldwide. Firstly, the keynote speakers were each allocated 45 minutes to address their speeches. Then in the oral presentations, the excellent papers committee had selected were presented by their authors one by one. Three sophisticated professors were invited to hold keynote speeches during the conference. Among them, Dr. Pushpendu Kar performed a keynote speech on the title: Activity Recognition-Based Smart Home Control System. This speech aimed at pre- senting the smart home control system and how to reduce the energy consumed by users at home. Based on a data set that records sensor data under different activities provided by a mobile phone worn on the waist, an activity recognition tool has been developed to provide a new control strategy for smart homes. Moreover, Dr. Mustafa Misir from Duke Kunshan University in China made a report on Automated Machine Learning: AutoML. This presentation discussed automation is a widely used strategy to eliminate or limit human assistance in manufacturing. The underlying motivation behind automa- tion is to reduce the effort required to achieve given design, planning, and control tasks with high accuracy or success. Besides the popularity of automation in manufacturing, it has been referred in algorithm design, as well since designing an effective algorithm for a given problem is a challenging task. We also have Dr. Yongquan Yan, from the Beijing Institute of Technology, to make a keynote speech on the title: Software Aging Prediction Using Neural Network with Ridge. In this talk, multilayer perceptron (MLP) with ridge is proposed to improve the prediction accuracy ofMLP and apply to software aging problems. We are glad to share with you that we’ve selected a bunch of high-quality papers from the submission and compiled them into the proceedings after rigorously reviewing them. These papers feature to the following topics: computer graphics, pattern recog- nition, machine learning, computer vision, big data analysis, sensing and display, high- performance computing, data mining, etc. All the papers have been checked through rigorous review and processes to meet the requirements of publication. We would like to acknowledge all of those who supported ICIAAI 2023 and made it a great success. Particularly, we would like to thank Atlantis Press, for the efforts of all its colleagues in publishing this paper volume. We sincerely hope that ICIAAI 2023 turned out to be a forum for excellent discussions that enable new ideas to come about, promoting collaborative research. The Committee of ICIAAI 2023
