The International Conference on Health and Well-Being in Modern Society (ICHW 2020) was successfully held 2nd time at Tomsk State University, Tomsk, Russia, on 29–30 July 2020. ICHW 2020 was organized with virtual participation through the cooperative efforts of Tomsk State University (Tomsk, Russia), Complex research institute RAS (Grozny, Russia), and Dental center (Tomsk, Russia).

ICHW 2020 aims to develop the scientific cooperation between researchers and practitioners, and provides a forum for them to present and discuss the latest innovations and developments in the fields of Healthcare, Well-being, and Clinical medicine. The participants presented their research on topical issues of clinical medicine, socialized medicine, cardiology, oncology, genetics, common hygiene, public health, as well as pharmacology and pharmacy, traumatology and orthopedics. Pressing issues of epidemiology were also discussed, including studies about combating epidemics and covid-19, in particular, discussions about room disinfection and usage of nebulizers.

In this issue, we present to our readers the latest research on healthcare and well-being: physical activities and sport, hygiene and ecology, healthy lifestyle and health risks in the modern world, children’s health, nutrition and healthy diet, cosmetology, psychology, and some issues of treatment of disable people.

We hope that ICHW 2020 has facilitated the developing of the scientific cooperation between Russian and international researchers working in those fields. After the careful reviewing, the most valuable and significant research papers were selected for publication. Two days of the conference has certainly enriched all the participants with new ideas for their future research.
