- Abstract
The new mainstream film, a fresh manifestation of the Chinese film industry's self-evolution, has emerged as a key cultural memory carrier for China's new period. Using the new mainstream movie as the research subject, this paper examines how cultural memory is improved and rebuilt during the film's narrative and communication processes. It also looks at efficient methods of writing cultural memory into the creation of images and media communication within the new mainstream movie and offers scholarly resources for the creation of more globally recognized Chinese cultural images.
