Abstract

It is an important and urgent task to cultivate the legal literacy of college counselors from the perspective of comprehensively governing the country according to law. This is not only the requirement of the era background of governing the country by law, but also the development requirement of governing the university by law. In the process of socialist modernization, for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, college counselors must have good legal quality and instill correct concepts of rule of law in their students. The rule of law means that all areas of national governance should be managed and operated in accordance with the law, emphasizing the equal application, justice and fairness of the law. This means that counselors in their daily work, whether dealing with student affairs or psychological counseling, need to be based on the law and guided by the rule of law to ensure that all behaviors are carried out under the framework of the law.
