Abstract

Regional economy, as a relatively independent and closely interconnected organic system, has a complex relationship between industrial development and economic development. Exploring the law of regional economic development is helpful to provide reference for regional industrial development. The author combed the data related to economic development and sports industry development of Xiamen from 2012 to 2017, and tried to analyze the correlation between sports industry and economy from different levels by using the method of Grey Relation Analysis(GRA). The purpose is to analyze the development characteristics of sports industry in Xiamen. The results show that there is a high correlation between the development of sports industry and the added value of tertiary industry, GDP and per capita consumption expenditure. Xiamen sports manufacturing industry and the development of sports industry are most closely related.
