Welcome to the 5th International Conference on Health Sciences (ICHS 2018). The conference will take place in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, on 04 November 2018. It is hosted by Health Politechnic of Ministry of Health Yogyakarta (Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta) collaborate with Institute of Health Sciences Bali (STIKES Bali). As the theme of this year’s conference is “Optimization of Elderly’ Health and Environmental Support in the era of SDGs”, this conference aims: 1) to bring together the scientists, food and environment engineers, researchers, practitioners, students, and civil society organization representatives in the scientific forum; and 2) to share and to discuss theoretical and practical knowledge about innovation in applied sciences. Specifically, this conference can be used as a scientific forum for accommodating discussion among young researchers that originated from Indonesia in the field of applied health sciences. Therefore, the invited speakers in this conference are researchers that are well-known and reputable in the world.
