It is an honor to welcome you to this distinguished gathering 2024 7th International Conference on Humanities Education and Social Sciences (ICHESS 2024) of thought leaders, scholars, and innovators. This event is one of the ways to enhance the collaboration among universities, industries, and other partners.
ICHESS 2024 attracts a diverse group of researchers, practitioners, and students from around the globe, all eager to share their latest findings and innovations in the fields of humanities education and social sciences. The total number of participants in this conference is 150, of which about 18% are international participants. This figure not only reflects the internationalization of the conference but also shows the global influence of research in humanities education and social sciences.
The overarching theme of this year’s conference is “Bridging Traditions and Innovations,” which underscores the importance of harmonizing classical perspectives with modern advancements to foster a holistic understanding of human behavior, culture, and societal development. By facilitating dialogue and connections among diverse fields such as history, philosophy, sociology, education, and psychology, the conference aims to promote interdisciplinary research and enhance educational practices. Ultimately, the goal is to inspire actionable insights and foster sustainable solutions that contribute to societal well-being and global progress.
The conference features an exciting agenda designed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among attendees. Among the agenda, keynote speeches delivered by prominent figures in the field set the tone for the conference, emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary approaches and the integration of new technologies. Associate Professor Ts. Dayana Farzeeha Ali (Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia), Associate Professor Dedong Zheng (Southeast University, China), and Professor Budsaba Kanoksilapatham (Silpakorn University, Thailand) shared their insights on emerging trends and challenges in humanities education and social sciences.
ICHESS 2024 received quantities of submissions, including some international manuscripts, some of which were unfortunately rejected after rigorous peer review process. The accepted papers cover a wide range of topics such as human development based on psychological and social concepts, interdisciplinary research and studies, international relations and collaborations, social and organizational networks, social complexity, etc., showing the latest achievements and cutting-edge dynamics of current research in humanities education and social sciences.
