- Abstract
The “One Belt, One Road” concept was born as a new type of regional cooperation structure to promote the multi-faceted and coordinated development of countries along the route. Dunhuang assumes an important historical role in promoting the “One Belt, One Road” construction. Dunhuang culture is an important part of the “One Belt, One Road” concept. This paper analyses Dunhuang culture in a number of dimensions to further collate the historical role it has played and could play in the “One Belt, One Road” process. The construction of “One Belt, One Road” is a dynamic process. This paper aims to explore and utilise Dunhuang culture to enrich the connotation of “One Belt, One Road” and promote its construction.
