Welcome to the International Seminar on Innovative and Creative Guidance and Counseling Service 2021 (ICGCS). The Unit Pelaksana Teknis Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling (Guidance and Counseling Service), Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta has organized the IVS ICGCS as a forum for practitioners, researchers, lecturers, and students to share their experience and research. The conference is supported by Indonesian Guidance and Counseling Association (ABKIN), Persatuan Kaunseling Malaysia Antarabangsa (PERKAMA International) and Persatuan Kaunseling Brunei Darussalam-(PERKAB).

After a thorough review of the paper submitted to the conference, the committee has selected 35 papers to be presented at the conference. After the conference, these selected papers will be reviewed and selected by internal and external independent reviewers for the proceeding. The objectives of the conference are:

1. To be a forum for practitioners, researchers, lecturers, and students to share and discuss their experience and research in the area of innovative and creative guidance and counseling services.

2. To enrich the theoretical and practical knowledge of creative interventions in providing guidance and counseling service from national and international experts and practitioners.

3. To introduce the Guidance and Counseling Service as a mental health service within Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta that commits to taking part in facilitating the development of guidance and counseling services globally by the conference.

The organizers are grateful to the authors for their enthusiasm. Additionally, we are thankful for the hard work of all reviewers, who are refereeing the submitted papers and raising the quality standard of the papers that we publish.
