- Abstract
as English teaching reform continuously deepens, English teaching mode is also adjusted correspondingly to adapt cultivation of students’ comprehensive English quality. Higher vocational colleges are colleges to cultivate applied talents for society. After students leave colleges, they will be engaged in technical and practical work in society. Traditional exam-oriented education and single English knowledge transmission of knowledge cannot cultivate social high quality requirement for talents. Based on quality-oriented education, higher vocational English implements English course reform and breaks through obsolete English teaching mode. Especially in English communicative competence, theory teaching and practice teaching are combined to promote mutual exchange between students and teachers and among students. Besides, scene play teaching methods is introduced to create practice space in classroom and make students experience joys of English communication in classroom so as to mobilize students’ initiative, consciousness and creativity of English study.
