We are delighted to present the proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Emerging Technologies and Sustainable Business Practices-2024 (ICETSBP-24), which took place on June 28th and 29th, 2024. Organized by the Commerce Department of University School of Business, Chandigarh University, in partnership with the University of Jamestown, USA, this conference brought together an impressive array of scholars, industry professionals, and thought leaders from around the world.

The primary aim of ICETSBP-24 was to foster a robust dialogue on the integration of emerging technologies with sustainable business practices. The conference provided an invaluable platform for researchers to share their findings, engage in in-depth discussions, and explore the complex challenges and opportunities at the intersection of these critical themes. The event highlighted the crucial role of innovation and sustainability in today’s dynamic business environment.

The conference commenced with a ceremonial inauguration, featuring the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing enlightenment and knowledge. Professor (Dr.) Nilesh Arora, Director of USB, warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and participants, setting a positive tone for the event. The opening address by Mr.Navjot Singh Miglani, Executive Director (HR) of Chandigarh University, was followed by a keynote address from Prof. (Dr.) Rajat Agarwal of IIT Roorkee. Additionally, virtual addresses from esteemed speakers such as Dr. Fizar Ahmed of Daffodil International University, Bangladesh, Dr. Sudhir Rana of Gulf Medical University, UAE, and Dr. Ramona Rupeika-Apoga, University of Latvia, Latvia added to the richness of the opening session.

The afternoon of the first day was dedicated to track-wise paper presentations. Scholars presented their research across various domains, including sustainable technomarketing strategies, sustainable HR strategies, emerging technologies and sustainable finance, ESG and sustainability, sustainable operations and strategic innovation, and eco-innovation in agriculture. Distinguished academicians chaired each track, ensuring a high level of academic discourse and providing valuable feedback to the presenters.

The second day continued with more paper presentations, culminating in the Valedictory Session. This session featured insightful addresses from the Hon’ble Pro VC Research and other notable speakers. The conference concluded with the presentation of certificates to participants, a group photograph, and closing remarks by Dr. Nitin Pathak, HOD-Commerce, followed by a high-tea session. Over the course of two days, a total of 128 papers were presented, showcasing research contributions from scholars in South Africa, the USA, Germany, Bangladesh, and various European nations. This diverse international participation underscored the global relevance of the conference themes and demonstrated a shared commitment to advancing sustainable business practices through technological innovation.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the participants, session chairs, keynote speakers, reviewers, and organizing committee members for their contributions, which made ICETSBP-24 a tremendous success. The proceedings of this conference are a testament to the high-quality research and innovative thinking that was shared, and we hope they will inspire further exploration and collaboration in the fields of emerging technologies and sustainable business practices.
