- Abstract
The problem in the low Mathematical analogy reasoning ability of students is due to the inability of students to fulfill the four stage of Mathematical analogy reasoning ability and the learning methods used are still ineffective to improve students’ Mathematical analogy reasoning ability. This study aims to see the effect of using the Hypnoteaching method on the ability of Mathematical analogy reasoning of grade V stundents on the material of Many Sides. This type pretest posttest non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SDN Menteng 03 with samples in class V-A totaling 30 people as the experimental class and V-B totaling 30 people as the control class. Data collection techniques in this study used written test (pretest-posttest), observation, and documentation. The results of the study based on t-test decision making in analyzing the data showed that the Sig value. 0,000 < 0,05 significant value which indicates that H0 rejected and H1 accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using the Hypnoteaching method on the Mathematical analogy reasoning ability of fifth grade students at SDN Menteng 03 Jakarta.
