- Abstract
As unethical incidents in the workplace become more frequent, the power of employees in organizations has received extensive academic attention. Most existing research has explored the negative impacts of employee voice behavior, with less focus on its positive effects. Based on this, this study uses spss to analyze 109 leader-employee paired questionnaires through empirical investigation, and finds that employees’ ethical voice has a negative impact on leaders’ unethical behaviors. This suggests that employees’ positive ethical voices containing positive energy in the workplace can help to reduce unethical behaviors of leaders. This study not only provides a new perspective for shaping the ethical climate of an organization, but also provides a direction for employees to protect themselves from the unethical demands of leaders in the workplace.
