It is with this spirit of exploration and advancement that we present the Proceedings of the 9th International Conference on Engineering Management and the 2nd Forum on Modern Logistics and Supply Chain Management (ICEM-MLSCM 2024) which was held from June 28th to 30th, 2024, in Foshan, China, and attended by about 100 delegates worldwide. The objectives of ICEM-MLSCM 2024 are to bring together national and international researchers and practitioners around the world to establish a forum of scientific cooperation with a global impact in fields engineering management as well as modern logistics and supply chain management; to promote the exchange of creative ideas and the effective transfer of scientific knowledge, from fundamental research to innovation applied to engineering management and modern logistics and supply chain management; and to advance in the development of new researches by means of efficient transference of the knowledge between sectors academia and industry. Adhering to advance sustainable practices in engineering management and modern logistics and supply chain management, ICEM-MLSCM 2024 encapsulates our collective commitment to addressing the pressing challenges of our time. From sus- tainable infrastructure development to resilient supply chain strategies, the conference delves into the core issues that shape our world, seeking innovative solutions that bal- ance economic growth with environmental and social responsibility. Its agenda mainly consists of keynote speech, oral presentation, poster presentation, and academic investi- gationwith the participation of delegates from Thailand, Singapore, Australia,Malaysia, India, China, among others. Experts and scholars shared their research experiences by imparting the latest findings from their respective research domains, providing a great opportunity for students, young scholars, and other participants interested in related fields to interact with them and get some advice or suggestions. We are optimistic that all participants have acquired new ideas and knowledge from this conference to enhance the capability toward relevant researches.
