- Abstract
The isomorphism and interdisciplinarity of knowledge organization and terminography provide necessary prerequisites for interdisciplinary research in these two academic fields. Based on the literature synthesis, this article reviews the theoretical and applied research of knowledge organization in the world and China, discusses their enlightenment to the research of terminography, and proposes a theorectical framework of terminography-oriented knowledge organization methods around the properties of systematicness, functionality and adaptability.
