Abstract

WTC (willingness to communicate) has long been the research focus because of the salient role it plays in second language learning. This paper reviews the related WTC research in L2 and Chinese EFL context, and the definition of related WTC variables, with a discussion of the implied pedagogical implication of the review and a suggestion for future research.
