Abstract

This article explores the multifaceted role of technology in modern English language education, focusing on the transformative impact of online learning platforms, educational apps, and virtual reality (VR) tools. Technology has revolutionized language learning, making it accessible to diverse learners worldwide. Online platforms offer flexibility and interactive experiences, while educational apps provide customized learning journeys with instant feedback. VR immerses learners in realistic English-speaking environments, fostering language acquisition and confidence. Case studies of Duolingo, Rosetta Stone, and VR immersion exemplify the effectiveness of these technologies. While challenges exist, such as accessibility and cost, technology continues to shape the future of language education.
