Website: http://www.icekim.org/ The 2024 5th International Conference on Education, Knowledge and Information Management (ICEKIM 2024)was successfully held via hybrid form in Chengdu, China, from April 19th to 21st, 2024. This conference has been held for five times in a series of topical meetings, and this year ICEKIM 2024 was attended by about 200 participants from different countries and regions. For this 5th meeting, we chose Chengdu as our conference venue and met with our old and new friends. While the location of the conference has been changed, what remained invariant is the aim of this series of conferences, which is to discuss the recent advances and new perspectives in education, knowledge, and information management in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. At this conference we had a comprehensive overview of this fascinating field and of future scenarios thanks to the participation of keynote speakers, distinguished delegates, and all the authors from around the world. The conference presented an outstanding paper volume covering the most recent advances in education, knowledge, and information management, including Artificial Intelligence in Education, New approaches to Computer-Assisted Teaching, Design and Implementation of Knowledge Management Systems, Information System Security and Privacy Protection, Digital Divide: Challenges and Solutions, Information Technology in Management Education, etc. The papers included in this proceedings represent a collection of plenary talks, invited speeches, and other contributions. The conference agenda consisted of four keynote speeches, various oral and poster presentations, as well as academic investigation, including many hot topic speeches and presentations highlighting the most recent achievements and advances in related fields. The main program included keynote speeches by Prof. Yan Yang from Southwest Jiaotong University, China, Prof. Zhonghong Ou from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China, Prof. Asad Khalil from Southwest University of Political Science & Law, China, and A. Prof. Kaixiang Yang from South China University of Technology, China. Their wonderful keynote speeches and sharing of their latest academic research achievements contributed to heated discussion and thinking among all the participants. We would like to thank all the participants, especially those who contributed speeches, posters, and manuscripts, for making ICEKIM 2024 such an exciting and memorable conference.We acknowledge all the committee members for their efforts in organizing this conference, putting together the outstanding program, and preparing for the conference proceedings.
