- Abstract
This article aims to determine the relationship between teacher teaching style and experience on student discipline. The method used in this study is a case study. The analytical technique used in this study is thematic analysis. The subjects used in this study were 80 grade 6 students and 40 teachers. This research was conducted in Cluster 02 of Cidahu District, Sukabumi Regency. The results showed that there is a relationship between the teacher’s teaching style and experience on student discipline. Things that affect student discipline are: 1) The emergence of self-awareness to familiarize discipline 2) Attitudes and ways of educating parents in developing discipline 3) The role of teachers in shaping student disciplinary character 4) A comfortable and supportive learning environment allows students to practice discipline. The solution that can be applied is for teachers to be role models by providing examples of how to teach discipline to students effectively, making clear rules and teacher teaching styles and experiences are very important to foster student discipline.
