- Abstract
This paper discusses the condition of child development during covid 19 Pandemic. The role of parents is very dependent on children’s education because the more support the parents are given, the more developed a child is. This research uses descriptive qualitative design. The definition of descriptive is a description of the state of the description. The thing to be researched is people who are waiting for their children in kindergarten, both from their own relatives. This writing used accidental sampling that took the cases that happened accidentally. After the data is collected, the next step is data processing or where the source is analyzed and criticized. The results of the study in general indicate that informal education is any activity carried out outside a school implementation in achieving a systematic, well-established, organized school, independently or independently of children who achieve learning and need a lot of activities. This definition illustrates that family education is at least organized and systematic in providing child education services at home. During Study from home the teachers have difficulties in assessing and reporting child development. To sum up, online learning does not hinder children’s knowledge, but it can increase children’s knowledge. Online learning can be accompanied by the child’s parents, because parents play an important role in studying the child’s knowledge. The more knowledge the parents have, the more knowledge the child will have. The role of parents is to pay attention to the knowledge of the child’s strengths and weaknesses, both in learning, playing, and in children’s daily activities.
