Abstract

With the advancement of science and technology, courts are facing more and more technical cases, which makes judges in non-professional fields feel powerless. In order to overcome the shortcomings of the judicial appraisal system in terms of high cost, long time, and cumbersome procedures, and taking into account the needs of technical personnel inside the court, a system of technical investigators was introduced. The technical investigator serves as a judicial assistant to assist the judge in judging the technical facts in the case and to issue a technical report as a reference for the judge. However, the technical investigator system has just been introduced, and there are inevitably a series of omissions and deficiencies to be improved through further research.
