Abstract

For historical, regional or other reasons, there are some great differences in thought pattern between the English and Chinese. Language expression varies in different thought patterns. Understanding the difference is beneficial to the culture exchange. This paper aims to talk about the differences between two thought patterns and their influences on translation and writing.
