Abstract

Sketch is an art form with independent language and a discipline of formative art, which has its independent status and value. It can directly express things in the objective world, and can also express abstract forms such as thoughts, concepts, attitudes, feelings, fantasy, and symbols. The differences between Chinese and western thinking styles and cultural backgrounds have caused the differences between Chinese traditional sketch and western traditional sketch. But meanwhile, art is interlinked and integrated with each other. Chinese and western sketches have merged and absorbed with each other in the course of history, and have continued to improve and develop themselves.
