- Abstract
Based on the data collected from the questionnaire, test and interview distributed at Inner Mongolia Normal University, Inner Mongolia National University, Chifeng University and Hulunbeier University, the writer has probed into the current situation of Mongolian English students’ intercultural communicative competence, their awareness and attitudes towards intercultural teaching and their intercultural knowledge and skills. Besides, the writer puts forward suggestions to improve intercultural teaching for English majors in ethnic regions in terms of developing students’ intercultural communicative competence.
