Abstract

From spatial perspective, this paper applies spatial panel model to study the main factors affecting regional financial efficiency. Seven indices were selected from aspects of macroeconomic factors, financial factors and policy factors and analyzed to see the impact of those factors on China's regional financial efficiency. The results show that, on the basis of considering spatial effects, the factors affecting China's financial efficiency mainly include the level of economic growth, the level of financial scale, the degree of financial aggregation and the degree of government's financial intervention. By regions, there are large differences in factors affecting financial efficiencies in various regions of China as well as the influence degree and direction.
