- Abstract
The Moon Gate is an archetype in Chinese interior design. This paper introduces the history of Moon Gate in Chinese history and its development in foreign Chinese gardens. Then the paper studies the Moon Gate used in Chinese interior design in the chronological sequence. Finally, the paper concludes the law of development of Mood Gate as an interior archetype.
