Website: http://www.iccase.net The 2024 8th International Conference on Civil Architecture and Structural Engineering (ICCASE 2024) took place during April 19 to 21, 2024, in Guangzhou, China. ICCASE exists as an annual international academic conference which tries to meet the needs for various kinds of civil architecture and structural engineering. And ICCASE 2024 is not only a concentrated display of research results in the field of civil architecture and structural engineering in the past few years, but also an in-depth exploration and outlook on the future development direction. Bearing the principle of “bringing together global wisdom in scientific innovation to promote high-quality development”, ICCASE 2024 encouraged the exchange of information on research frontiers in different fields related to civil architecture and structural engineering, connected the most advanced academic resources at home and abroad, and turned research results into industrial solutions. It also promoted the development of related disciplines, expanded the international scientific and academic exchange channels, enhanced scientific innovation on a global scale, and contributed to academic cooperation between China and the international community. The conference was attended by about 200 participants and hosted an opening ceremony, five keynote speeches, many oral and poster presentations, questions & answer parts, as well as a closing ceremony. In-depth discussions on key issues and challenges in the advancement of civil architecture, structural engineering, and associated industries were carried. The topics cover various research fields where the technologies and applications of civil architecture and structural engineering are applied, ranging from theories analytics to case studies. According to all the attendees, the scientific program was excellent with high level of presentations, and the scientific environment was fruitful, thus all of them had a great and creative time. In this conference proceedings, we have included many high-quality academic papers. These papers not only cover various aspects in the field of civil architecture and structural engineering, but also have high academic value and practical significance. We believe that the publication of these contributions will provide valuable references for the general readers and will further promote the academic research and technological innovation in this field.
