Abstract

Parametric deformation is the reference to measure the quality of the parameters. According to it, a three-dimensional mesh spherical parameterzation method is put forward based on local deformation energy for arbitrary and spherical homeomorphism of zero defect lattice close type grid model, and the parameter domain is extended from planar region to spherical region. Experimental results show that the algorithm is simple, fast and accurate.
