Website: http://www.icbdie.org We are pleased to present this Proceedings from the 2024 5th International Conference on Big Data and Informatization Education (ICBDIE 2024), which took place in Sanya, China, during January 19 to 21, 2024 (hybrid event). The Conference was organized as usual with keynote speeches, oral presentations, poster presentations, and academic investigation, attracting about 150 delegates around the world. The technical program actually started on the morning of January 20 with keynote speeches made by four renowned experts. Among them, Professor Junfeng Diao from Hainan Normal University, China, delivered a speech on Research on Standard and Training Implementation for Dual Professional Vocational Teachers’ Teaching Competency in the Information Age. This study aims to theoretically explore the new connotations of teaching competency for dual professional teachers in vocational education in the information age, elucidate its constituent elements, and construct teaching competence standards. In practice, it provides a framework and tools for the diagnosis and assessment of teaching competence in vocational colleges, serving as a reference for the improvement and innovation of the professional development mechanism for vocational college teachers in the information age. The Conference was closed with an academic investigation on the afternoon of January 21. The Conference was indeed very successful! National and international leading scientists and researchers have gathered at ICBDIE 2024 and created a stimulating scientific atmosphere for themselves and for the young scholars. ICBDIE 2024 promoted the development and application in the fields of and related to big data and informatization education, as well as fostered the industrial cooperation of academic achievements. The conference was fruitful, with participants submitting numerous high-quality academic papers and research results. These papers cover various aspects of financial innovation and economic development, both theoretical discussions and practical case studies, fully demonstrating the latest research results and thinking of scholars at home and abroad in this field. We believe that these results will have a profound impact on promoting global financial innovation and economic development.
