Abstract

The article describes an attempt to develop a method to reveal the author's intention in a scientific test based on evidential markers. The method proposed in the article is based on the analysis of the proportion of explicit and implicit evidential markers, correlation of evidential strategy markers with axiological operators and some other data expressed in a scientific text. The described method transforms the evidential markers into a tool to reveal the authors intention and thus adds to reader's understanding of the ways an author creates scientific texts and discourse.
