- Abstract
This research aimed to develop English textbook for Early Childhood Education Program Students. The study utilized research and development (R & D) with questionnaire and interview as the data collecting technique. Questionnaires were given to the students of early childhood education program that used to know the students’ need. An interview was also delivered to the teacher to know the material for early childhood instructional material. The result found that data analysis of the early students’ needs for learning English shows that learning four skills in English should have the same portion, namely between learning speaking, writing, reading, and listening. This study also found that the use of image media in learning is very necessary so that it helps students understand English learning material.
