Website: http://www.esfct.net With the continuous evolution of the global economic landscape and the rapid development of information technology, research in the fields of economics, smart finance and contemporary trade has become an increasingly important force for social progress and economic growth. On this occasion, we are honored to have welcomed the 2024 3rd International Conference on Economics, Smart Finance and Contemporary Trade (ESFCT 2024). The conference brings together experts, scholars, industry elites and young scholars from all over the world to discuss the latest advances in economics theories, the innovative applications of smart finance, and the challenges and opportunities facing contemporary trade and to build a solid platform for promoting academic exchanges and cooperation. ESFCT 2024 is an important academic conference jointly supported by a number of renowned universities and research institutions based on the success of the previous two conferences. The conference was held in Harbin, China, from August 16 to 18, 2024, with the aim of promoting theoretical research and practical application in related fields through in-depth discussion of hot issues in economics, smart finance and contemporary trade. The conference has attracted the participation of about 80 scholars and experts from all over the world, which not only promotes international academic exchanges and cooperation, but also enhances the influence and discourse of China’s academic community in the international arena. This conference’s proceedings gathers outstanding papers from around the world, covering a wide range of fields in economics, smart finance and contemporary trade. Specifically, the topics of the contributions cover a wide range of areas such as economic theory, economic management, e-economy, big data finance, international finance, innovative finance, financial risk, internet finance, contemporary trade, etc., fully demonstrating the diversity and complexity of the field. With their unique perspectives, in-depth analyses and cutting-edge views, these papers demonstrate the latest research results and theoretical innovations in their respective fields. All submissions undergo a strict peerreview process by 2–3 experts from the organizing committee to ensure the academic level and practical value of the articles. The publication of this Proceedings is an important reflection of the results of PAHHD 2024. It not only includes the excellent contributions presented during the conference, but also records the clash of ideas and exchange of wisdom among the participants. These papers not only show the latest research results of global scholars in the field of public administration, health and human development, but also reflect the development trend and future direction of the field.
