- Abstract
Current knowledge of literary disciplines is a system of discourse constructed according to scientific principles and formal methods, which contradicts literature as a metaphorical and poetic activity. The manifestation of literary education is the closure of education and the reduction of the integration between literature and social practice. The inherent contradiction between Enlightenment modernity and aesthetic modernity is the root cause of these phenomena, so the way out for literary education should start from aesthetic modernity. Specifically, it is to improve the tendency of scientific and formalized dominance of the literary discipline and to bring back the literary nature of literature, for which the current cultural studies provide ready insights and direct influence.
