- Abstract
This paper is dedicated to theoretical and empirical research of communication skills development in children with developmental delays. The conducted experiment on teaching primary school children shows that all children with developmental delays have difficulties with learning foreign languages, regardless of their nationality However, according to the mean values, communication skills of the Russian children with disabilities are more developed than of the Udmurt primary school children.
