Abstract

In order to meet the needs of modern society for the cultivation of talents, college English education pays more attention to the cultivation of students' comprehensive application ability of language. The goal of college English teaching is to develop students' ability to use English language comprehensively. At present, although the reform of college English teaching has achieved certain results, there are still many problems and shortcomings. In order to promote the balanced development of students' language ability and improve the students' ability to use language comprehensively, this paper analyzes the present situation of college English teaching and puts forward some measures and methods of teaching reform.
