- Abstract
Character education is now a topic that is often discussed in seminar forums. But there is not yet a standard instrument in measuring the internalization of character education. This study aims to measure the validity and reliability of character education. The instrument used to measure internalization of character education is a closed questionnaire. The questionnaire was composed of 18 questions. The respondents in this study were 158 students. Analysis of the validity test using the Pearson Product Moment correlation formula. While the reliability test uses Cronbach’s Alpha. The validity test results are a valid instrument to measure the internalization of character education values, that is, all items value α < 0.05. The reliability test results are a reliable instrument to measure the internalization of character education values, namely with a Cronbach’s Alpha score of 0.846.
