- Abstract
We examined the extent of how positive emotion and relationships in work influence innovative work behavior among educators. This pilot study involved 35 school educators in Melaka and used Structural Equation Modelling SmartPLS version 3.0 software for data analysis. The findings of the study showed that positive relationships at work have a significant influence on innovative work behavior among educators. However, positive emotion has proven to have an insignificant influence on the innovative work behavior among educators. The findings can provide guidelines and strategies to educational institutions to promote innovative work behavior among educators. Implication and future research are also discussed.
