- Abstract
The newly revised "Private Education Promotion Law of the People's Republic of China" clearly states that private colleges and universities should implement classified management, and are in urgent need of carrying out internal governance structure reform. Currently, the internal governance structure of private colleges and universities in China has unclear power boundaries, incomplete management functions and imperfect internal supervision. Exploring a scientific, rational and efficient internal governance structure of "separated three powers (academic power, administrative power and capital power)" can play an active role in the modernized governance of private colleges and universities.
