Abstract

This practice is based on the real college English teaching reform carried out in Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology. It adopted Production-Oriented Approach (POA), an innovative theory put forward by Wen Qiufang. Aiming to find out how to integrate POA and the institute’s objects of cultivating Application-oriented talents with both excellent professional knowledge, skills and comprehensive English abilities, the research applied POA theory to college English teaching. This paper presents both the design and basic teaching process of the teaching practice implemented in the advanced-level class.
