Abstract

Rock music, as a vibrant and rebellious art form, has been exerting a profound influence on global culture since the mid-20th century. As an important part of the modern entertainment industry, video games have also shown strong cultural influence and creative potential in recent years. This paper aims to discuss the application of rock music in video games. In this paper, the author will analyze the influence of rock elements on video games and their future development trends from the three levels of musicality, visual artistry and philosophy, and analyze its enhancement of the gaming experience, as well as the common enhancement of the cultural values of the two by this cross-border fusion.
