Abstract

The development of global multiculturalism has become an inevitable trend in the 2020s, and horror films with relatively fixed audiences have gradually taken up an important position, and a set of operation modes and techniques have been formed. The beginning of film development was the era of silent films. With the industrialization and large-scale development of Hollywood films, films have been transformed into audio-visual art, and the design of sound modeling is an unshakable position for horror films. The purpose of this paper is to explore the influence of horror sound modeling on horror elements, and to think about the influence of new technologies and methods on sound elements and horror atmosphere. From the development of the plot, the advancement of the characters, the contrast of the atmosphere, and the construction of imagination, etc. It proposes a methodology for enhancing the sense of terror, to meet the needs of different generations of audiences to review terror, and to better improve the viewing experience.
