Website: https://bicame.itk.ac.id/ The 5th Borneo International Conference (BICAME 2024) is pleased to present the proceedings of its 5th edition, held offline at the Grand Jatra Hotel in Balikpapan, Indonesia. This conference, which held on 18–19 September 2024, serves as a platform for researchers, academics, industry professionals, and policymakers to share their latest advancements and insights in the fields of sustainable energy, green technology, environment, and climate change. The growing urgency of addressing global environmental challenges has made it imperative to explore innovative solutions that promote sustainable development. BICAME 2024 provided a unique opportunity for participants to discuss and exchange ideas on cutting-edge research, emerging technologies, and best practices in these critical areas. This year, BICAME will be divided into two symposiums: Symposium on Applied Mathematics and Engineering Technology (SAMET) and the Symposium on Digital Innovation, Sustainable Design, and Planning (DSP), based on their research areas. These symposiums are relevant to current research developments.
