IV The International Research to Practice Conference "Anthropogenic transformation of geospace: nature, economy, society" (ATG2019, https://www.picconf.ru.net/volsu-conf-atg-wos) is first held on October 01-04, 2019, at the Institute of Natural Sciences, Volgograd state university, Volgograd, Russian Federation. ATG '2019 covers a wide range of natural and social sciences.

PhD students, teachers, scientists, research workers of higher educational institutions, research institutes and industrial enterprises were invited to participate in the conference.

The Conference provided an interdisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners and scholars to present and discuss the most recent innovations and developments in the field of new ecology, tourism, biology, law, economics, society and education methods.

It also aimed at urban environment and its multi-facet aspects: the earth sciences, resource management, pollution control, environmental communication, economics of natural resources, eco-technologies, social sciences, social inclusion, law enforcement, healthcare, environmental and public policy commitment in rural and urban areas, urban e-services, financial issues of sustainable development, city tourism, smart city concept, city culture and human security, cluster strategy, globalization, gap pattern, digital media, urban discourse.
