- Abstract
This working paper examines the development of spa tourism industry which the Indonesian government consider it as a part of special interest tourism. More particularly, the paper will take a closer look at the innovation process in such development. At the initial stage of the research, this paper reports involvement among stakeholder in the industry to construct a better regulation for sustainable development of the industry. Data are obtained through a set of focused group discussion encompassing key person from government and private sector.
