Abstract

People who reside in rural or remote places have a more difficult time gaining access to medical care than those who live in cities and towns. This article will validate and supplement the research that has already been done on the subject of health accessibility policies for persons living in border areas. This study is a review of the relevant literature, and it makes use of the Publish or Perish (PoP) software to locate articles of significance and the Vos viewer to show the importance of earlier research. In this study, we looked at 23 previous papers that were related to our topic. The findings indicate that people who live in border areas, not only in Indonesia but also in other developing nations, have a difficult time gaining access to adequate medical care. The ramifications of this research for the governments of developing nations, in order for them to formulate health programs that are appropriate in border areas.
