Proceedings of the Annual International Conference of Business and Public Administration (AICoBPA 2018)
Annual International Conference on Business and Public Administration (AICoBPA) is an annual international conference that integrates public administration and business administration; academically and practically. AICoBPA’s 2018 theme is “The Challenges and Prospects of Business and Public Administration in Industry 4.0” with two subtopics. The first subtopic is “Navigating Future Business Competitiveness through Education and Technology Utilization” which includes Economics and Finance; Marketing; Human Resource Management; Entrepreneurship; Accounting and Audit; Information management system; Good Corporate Governance and Fiscal Policy & Tourism. The second subtopic is “The Opportunity of Public Administration in the Disruptive Era which includes Public Policy and Administration; Government in the Digital Age; Public Service Submission; Educational Leadership; Education Policy, Management, and Evaluation; Records and Information Management; Information Management and Public Information Openness.
The conference attracted 119 paper submissions from six different countries and various regions across Indonesia. Upon completion of the review process, 95 papers were accepted with “revision required” status (representing around 79% acceptance rate) and thus allowed them to step forward into the next phase. 93 papers were successfully revised and resubmitted to the committee, but only 90 papers were presented because of the absence of three presenters. Nine faculty members of the Faculty of Administrative Science, Universitas Brawijaya, have been assigned to review the papers and guide authors whose papers need further revisions after the conference, especially by following the guideline from the Atlantis Press as the publisher. Finally, only 64 papers have successfully been resubmitted and approved by the editors for entering the publication of the conference proceeding with the Atlantis Press.
Finally, we convey our gratitude to our Steering Committee, the Organizing Committee, International Advisory Board members, the Scientific Committee, the Speakers and Participants, for giving their best to the success of the conference.
